Topic:OpenStack powered Multiple Data Center Mgmt. w/ Intelligent Workload Scheduling

OpenStack is the most popular cloud infrastructure management platform. More and more enterprises adopt OpenStack to manage their IT infrastructure. Mature enterprise usually deploy business in multiple data centers, using different hypervisor for different workload, which may lead to infrastructure island, especially in the context of multiple data center. Lenovo R&T offers an innovative multiple data center management based on OpenStack. This extension not only support both open source hypervisor(i.e.KVM) and commercial hypervisor(e.g. VMware ESXi), but also enable automatic workload migration between data centers. Moreover, workload within a data center can be consolidated or distributed based on different policies during runtime. Such capabilities lead to optimized workload management for enterprise.
